Max lives in a side panel accessible from any screen. It reads your client's documents, tax returns, and emails to answer questions with full context. Toggle Research Mode for deep analysis with web search, or stay in standard mode for fast answers. Every conversation is saved and organized by project, contact, or entity.
Ask Max about current tax rules, filing requirements, or planning strategies and get sourced answers in seconds. In Research Mode, Max searches the web for the latest guidance so you don't have to alt-tab to a browser. Ask from within a project and Max already has the client's context.
Max can read tax returns, search across forms and schedules, and surface specific line items. Ask it to review a return and flag unusual items, compare year-over-year changes, or find a specific number buried in a K-1. It searches by form name, dollar amount, SSN, or any pattern you describe.
Max searches across all uploaded files, W-2s, 1099s, bank statements, and even your Gmail or Outlook emails. Ask "what was the total interest income?" or "did the client mention anything about a rental property?" and Max finds the answer across every source.

Yes. Max only accesses data within your firm's account. All conversations are isolated per user and per firm. Client data is encrypted at rest and in transit and is never used to train AI models.
